I won an award! →
On friday afternoon before the show opened for the private view we had a bit of an awards ceremony. Our tutors had invited various people from galleries and craft/design organisations to present some prizes. Completely unexpectedly Fran and Abby from Franny and Filer in Chorlton have selected my work to display in their gallery!
Degree show update →
Thanks to everyone that turned up to the degree show opening on friday night. Fantastic night, really busy, great feedback on how professional the show looked and the high standard of everybody’s work.

MMU 3D Design Degree Show →
This is the degree show for the course i’m about to graduate from. It opens to the public this coming weekend, come down and have a look lots of cool stuff on show and some stuff I made as well!
Artists statement. I hate writing these things!
My work is primarily focused on my interest in exploring and manipulating different materials. I take inspiration from the inherent multiples, colour, patterns and forms of nature.
In these ranges of jewellery each strand of nylon monofilament is individually dyed and coated in resin and then constructed into the finished piece. The finished effect prompts associations with the way dewdrops form...
